Firmware 3.01 Here

While on holiday in the south of Italy I updated to FW 3.0, which I found to really improve the AF. In fact I was surprised how well it worked in low light (I mean like iso 3200 f/1.4 at 20 sec. 'Oh yea a new camera' is what I thought. However when I got back home, I noticed a spot on my files.
So I took my camera to the place I bought it at, here in the Netherlands. And was told they could not clean it, as it was not on the sensor but on the glass behind the sensor, 'huh?' Anyway the store sent it to Fuji here in NL. It took five weeks, thats right FIVE weeeks. It came back, I put a battery and card in and turned on the camera.
Everything went haywire on it. I noticed that the firmware had been updated to 3.01 (again not by me). The main problem is that it seems to be stuck in the 'C' mode in AF, regardless at what the selector in the fornt of the camera is. Also the Frame Correction in the menu does not work in the OFV. AF button not, the Command Wheel does not magnify in focusing, the AF-L / AE-L is a no no. Which would seem to make it appear that of the camera being in the 'C'mode. Has anyone else experienced this?

The original ver 3.0 firmware reportedly caused problems when using video mode and non-fuji lenses, but I wonder if that was the ONLY time the freeze-up happened with that version? If so, then if it is still around anywhere, I wonder if it might be a 'safer' upgrade than to 3.01. While on holiday in the south of Italy I updated to FW 3.0, which I found to really improve the AF.
A few days ago, Sony released firmware 3.01 for the PS Vita. As the Z mentioned already, this kind of disrupted some of the release plans for TN-V4, but not too much. Has anyone else experienced this? I've had my new X-Pro1 (S/N 21006673) for just a few months and upgraded the FW on the day I bought it to 3.01.
I had used it with all of the currently available Fuji XF lenses (except the 27mm) with no lock ups, although I hadn't used the camera intensively until this week. I've shot about 3000 RAW+JPEG frames this week and experienced the lock up twice using the EVF with the 55-200 zoom. Memory card is a brand new Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB 95MB/s, formatted in camera that hadn't been used until this week. Dropping the battery was the only way to switch off the camera. I'll monitor and report back if it keeps happening and if I spot common conditions. Additional observation: I analyzed the shooting situation when my X-Pro1 had the lock-up - it happened when I shot a sequence of pictures in single-shot mode, but in very fast succession, mashing the shutter to cut down on the AF delay. Last night, I even made my X-E1 lock up in just the same way under the same conditions.
I wonder if others can look into their image files. If they know the exact last picture when the lock-up occurred, it would be interesting to analyze the preceding images, and extract the time delay between the shot times.
