Skyrim Creation Kit Non Steam Update 13

Hi Guys, I know and understand that Bethesda's Skyrim Creation Kit is a sorry piece of crap ever since the last update and that it crashes upon the slightest click or for no reason at all, but there has to be some way to fix it. I also have reason to believe that Beth (Bethesda) has completely left the development of the thing and is just leaving it like it is. Anyone know of any patches/mods/fixes that will at least tone down the crashes? Also, is there a way to implement new controls? I don't particularly like the way we have to rotate the camera. Thanks for any help. If you have all the DLC's then you need to make sure your CK can use them.
