Since it's 3D CG, it has weird dubbing. The Egnlish lip syncing is way off in places, and a lot of the names are changed seemingly to match (e.g. 'Yama' inexplicably becomes 'Logan', I suspect to fit syllables better when removing Japanese honorifics). I'm not sure what Netflix is going to air, the above article just says 'Sorry, Netflix hasn't come to this part of the world yet' when I try and view it. But I own the Blu Ray release, and both the dub and subs use the same names for things, which is a bit jarring, especially if you've seen a lot of Harlock before. The moive is great for its GC, as in James Cameron praises it's CG, that's how good it is.

(I'm not sure what it'll look like streamed, I assume it'll be ok). As other have said the plot isn't anything to write home about, and the translation is awkward.

For those that have seen Harlock before, it's still a must-watch, but personally, it's not a great rendition, most of the other Harlock shows are better. They took a lot away from the core of Harlock, but ultimately didn't replace it with much. So it's a pretty empty show in all.
